Making A Purchase
Making a Purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

All payments are processed through the PayPal payment system. Your account will be debited at the time of ordering.

In the unlikely event that an item you are have ordered be out of stock, we will reimburse using the same method in which it was paid for.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice.
We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.


Shipping And Handling
Shipping and Handling is charged by three world zones as defined by The Royal Mail UK and International Delivery Service as:
'United Kingdom'
'The Rest of Europe'
'The Rest of the World'.

The Shipping and Handling services employed by Takara Jewllery are as follows:
Special Delivery Next Day service throughout the UK
International Signed for Delivery throughout the Rest of Europe and the Rest of the World

All costs (including Insurance Charges and Customs Duty) are the responsibility of the customer.
Delivery Schedule
We aim to despatch your order within 1 business day from receipt of payment . International standard delivery orders aim to be delivered within 5 days of despatch.
Back Orders We do not back order goods
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Returns Policy

Our aim is your satisfaction. All of our products* come with a 28 day no quibble exchange or refund promise.

Please mark clearly on your invoice which item you are returning, and post it to us, along with the returned goods. If you would like to exchange the returned item, please note your new selection on the returned invoice.
Returned items should be in the same condition and packaging as they were despatched.
The customer is liable for the full carridge cost of returned goods. Refunds and exchanges will only be made on receipt and inspection of goods.

*For reasons of hygeine, refunds are not offered on earrings except in accordance with your statutory rights.

Please Note: If you paid for your order by credit card, we will credit the amount of the returned goods to your card.
Remittance Terms
